FAQs

The Creative Curriculum is a program of study that supports active, hands on, inquiry based learning which will promote your child’s progress in all developmental areas. We want your child to love reading. Our literacy-rich classrooms and various learning experiences provide early learning experiences to create a solid foundation on which your child will build their education. We recruit staff that are professional, experienced and well qualified. In addition we commit to providing your child with plentiful opportunities to explore their own interests, facilitated by our staff, so that they can develop at their own rate. Our staff will ensure that your child is challenged so that they progress quickly.

We encourage you to come and visit! We feel it is important to share our philosophy for learning with you and the most effective way to do this is by having a tour with our Registrar or Director. Please contact us by phone (800 4332 352), email (info@ideaelc.ae) or through our website.

You can do this in three ways: through our website, by calling us or by emailing. We will then ask you to complete an application form and pay a non-refundable registration fee of 1,000AED.

Our Director, will review your application form and liaise with our Registrar, to suggest a suitable time to meet you and your child. Where possible we will invite your child for an informal, playful assessment (Pre-KG, KG1 and KG2). We do like to meet every child that applies so that we can identify each child’s individual interests. Whilst your child is playing, our team will be happy to answer any remaining questions that you may have.

We will confirm whether we are able to offer your child a place at the earliest once the team has conducted a full review of the application.

After this point we will consider how best we can provide for your child. To secure your child’s place, we will send an offer letter and you will be required to accept within 7 days to secure the place. At this time, you will also be required to pay an admission fee (1,000AED) and a medical fee (1,000AED). You will also need to submit the required documents for your child and family. If you are new to Dubai and your visa has not yet been processed, we are happy to accept your application whilst you gain these documents. We will need copies once your visa and Emirates ID have been granted.

We aim to ensure adult to student ratios are kept low to ensure a happy, safe and productive learning environment.

We are unique! We are all three of these. We feel it is really important for your child to make a transition with us across their Early Childhood Education. By the time your child leaves us at the end of KG2, they will be ready for whichever school you choose to enroll them in. Please see our Curriculum Map on our website which exemplifies this.

Our curriculum has a strong focus on Communication Skills. We know that sometimes children can’t share their thoughts with you. For some it is because they haven’t got the skills yet, for others it is simply that what happened in the morning seems like it was a lifetime ago by the evening! Personal communication is key so we will share information with you during drop offs and collection. We have a parent app which is updated at least three times per week. In addition we will regularly update our website with photographs of their activities. We are committed to sharing their progress with you in many ways. Sometimes we will be so excited to share their achievement with you that we will send a snapshot of it home on the very same day! We will provide a termly summary and an end of year report which will detail how your child has made progress, their particular strengths and any areas for development.

At IDEA Early Learning Center, we strongly feel that learning through play is paramount. We also believe that sensory, messy, tactile, risky, real-life and spontaneous learning opportunities are what help to bring the best out of your child. Our activities will both be a mix of taught and self-initiated, ranging across all areas of the curriculum. We place an emphasis on Language and Literacy learning.

If you register your child for our daycare provision, they will be busy consolidating skills through play in the soft play gymnasium, outside on the bikes and trikes, making crafts, using technology and learning new games, all under the guidance of our skilled teaching assistants.

At IDEA Early Learning Center, we commit to employing a team of professionals that have a balance of specialisms, qualifications and experience. Our Director has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree and a CACHE level 5. Our Head of Curriculum has a Bachelor of Arts in Early Years Care and Education. Our expert Teachers always have a teaching degree or equivalent qualification. Our Teaching Assistants are dedicated to ensuring children make progress. It is vital for us to only employ staff that share our vision, can bring something unique and can work effectively as part of our team.
